West Iris is a community of Townhomes designed for the Berry Hill area for Short Term Rentals.

 

The Design

Thinking of re-sale and recognizing a trend of "live work" these homes signify the difference of the primary "live" function with the secondary "work" function through architecture.

Here's How:

 

A "Form Follows Function" approach. A series of hovering white boxes indicates the major spaces and the primary "live" functions of each home. Live function meaning Living, Dining, Kitchen and Master Bedroom. This primary box sit on top of a darker volume indicating the secondary work use. 

 

The project consists of 5 "live work" Townhomes with 2 different floorplans and over 12,000 square feet of space. Construction was completed in the Fall of 2019
